Bio
Who is Nataly Andria?
Singer-songwriter. Madagascar, Paris, Los Angeles. Three languages.
Raised in Paris, she built a live career there from 2008: clubs, tours, castings for musicals in France and the UK, while holding down a nine-to-five in project management and marketing. That same year she released her first EP, Out of Stage, produced by the French hip-hop DJ duo Needle Drifterz, a continuation of the songwriting that began with her debut single K’atao ahoana moa in 2004. Something New, a record of original compositions, followed in 2013, then Used 2 with French touch producer Ilo Bosco (2015) and Covered (2016), three songs from Something New rebuilt by Tatoun from her a cappellas, which entered the iTunes France R&B/Soul chart at #12.
The story
Born in Madagascar, she first stood in front of a camera at nineteen as a finalist on the first season of Pazzapa, the country’s first televised singing contest, and released her debut single as a songwriter, K’atao ahoana moa, in Malagasy, in 2004.

In December 2016 she sang the Malagasy national anthem at UNESCO in Paris, in front of the President of Madagascar. In 2019 she played a stadium stage in Rabat, Morocco, at the closing ceremony of the African Games.
She plays bass and guitar and builds tracks on hardware. The instruments are hers, and so are the words. Songs move between French, Malagasy and English, sometimes inside a single verse.
After London she made her way to Los Angeles, where she now lives and writes. Her next record is her first in over a decade. New music arrives in 2027.
